আপনি কে? আপনি কেন মানুষ হয়ে এলেন? আপনার পরিচয় কি? কোনোদিন ভেবে দেখেছেন এ প্রশ্নগুলি?না, ভাবেননি, আর ভাবলেও গুরুত্ব দেননি। এই তো আপনার মধ্যে আত্মবোধের অভাব। আমি আপনাদের জানাচ্ছি কেন দরকার এই প্রশ্নগুলি নিজের মধ্যে জাগানোর। তবেই বুঝবেন কি প্রয়োজন আত্মবোধের।
আপনি কে? এর প্রশ্নের উত্তরে আপনি বলবেন, আমি মানুষ। কিন্তু আমি যদি বলি এই উত্তর সঠিক হল না। আপনি হলে ব্রহ্মের থেকে নিঃসৃত এক কণা ব্রহ্মময় জীব। এর অর্থ হল গোটা জগৎ ব্রহ্মময়, এ তো জগতগুরু আদি শঙ্করাচার্যের অমৃতময় বাণী। এবার ভাবুন সেই ব্রহ্মময় জগতেই আপনি সৃষ্টি হয়েছেন প্রকৃতির অন্তরে এককোণায়, তাহলে আপনি ব্রহ্মের তৈরি ব্রহ্মময় জীব হলেন না? দ্বিতীয় প্রশ্নের উত্তরে আপনি বলবেন মানুষ হয়েছি দেবতার আশীর্বাদে কিংবা চুরাশি যোনি ঘুরতে ঘুরতে কর্মের ফলে মানুষ হয়েছেন। কিন্তু আমি যদি বলি এই উত্তরও সঠিক হল না। মানুষ জন্ম পেয়েছেন পূর্বজন্মে কর্মের ঘাটতি রয়েছে সেই কারণে, মানুষ হয়ে সঠিক কর্মের পরিবর্তে কোথাও ভুলকর্মের উপস্থিতি হওয়ায় ব্রহ্মময় ওঙ্কার শক্তি আপনাকে আবার সুযোগ দিয়েছেন সেই ঘাটতি পূরণ করতে। তাই এবার যখন মানুষ হয়েছেন তখন সঠিকভাবে নিজের কর্মে মনোনিবেশ করুন, অন্তরে হৃদপদ্মকে জাগিয়ে তাঁকে জ্ঞান, ভক্তি, প্রেম, ত্যাগ, শৃঙ্খলতার বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ করুন তবেই কর্ম সঠিক হবে এবং আপনিও মনুষ্য জন্মের অর্থ বুঝতে পারবেন।
তৃতীয় প্রশ্নের উত্তরে আপনি বলবেন আপনার পরিচয় আপনি মানুষ। কিন্তু এই উত্তরটাও সঠিক হল না। হ্যাঁ, ঠিকই শুনছেন, উত্তরটি হবে আপনার পরিচয় আপনি ব্রহ্মের সেবক। অর্থাৎ সমগ্র জগতে অনন্তকোটি ব্রহ্মাণ্ডের নায়িকা এক অনন্ত নাটক উপস্থাপন করে চলেছেন, আপনি আপনার সময় মতন সেই নাটকের অংশ হয়ে ব্রহ্মের সেবকরূপে কাজ করবেন, কর্ম শেষ হলে সেই কর্মের সঠিক পুরস্কার পাবেন সেই জ্যোতির্ময়ীর থেকে। তাহলে বুঝতে পারলেন আপনি যে নিজের অন্তরে ভাবছেন যে আপনিই শ্রেষ্ঠ, এ ধারণা আপনার মতন সকলে ভাবছে, সমস্ত জীব ভাবছে। আর সেই কোটিব্রহ্মরূপিনী কি ভাবছেন জানেন? আপনার জীবনচক্রে কত নম্বর করতে পারলেন, কখন আপনার সেবকরূপী কর্মের সমাপ্তি ঘটবে, আর কবে আপনার চেতনার উন্মেষ হবে।
ভারতের বহু মহাত্মাপুরুষ সেই চেতনার কথাই আপনাদের বারবার বলে গিয়েছেন, ধরতে পারেননি তার অর্থ, বুঝতে পারেননি কিভাবে সেই চেতনার উদয় সম্ভব। আমি বলছি, নিত্যদিনের শেষে নিজের সারাদিনের সেবকরূপী কর্মের মূল্যায়ন করুন, কোথাও ঘাটতি থাকলে পরেরদিন সেই ঘাটতি পূর্ণ করুন, তবেই পাবেন চেতনার সন্ধান, জাগবে আত্মবোধ।

Who are you? Why were you born as a human being? What is your true identity?
Have you ever really reflected on these questions? Most people haven’t—and even if they have, they rarely give them importance. This is precisely where the lack of self-awareness lies. I want to explain why awakening these questions within yourself is essential. Only then will you understand why self-realization truly matters.
When asked “Who are you?” you may answer, “I am a human being.” But I would say this answer is incomplete. You are, in truth, a particle of Brahman—a living being emerging from the Supreme Reality. The entire universe is pervaded by Brahman; this is the immortal teaching of Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. If you are born within this Brahman-filled universe, nurtured in a corner of nature itself, then are you not a being formed of Brahman?
To the second question—“Why were you born as a human?”—you may say it was due to divine blessing, or the result of wandering through eighty-four life forms according to karma. Yet even this answer falls short. Human birth comes because there remained an incompleteness in past actions. The divine Omkara energy grants another opportunity—this human life—to correct what was lacking. That is why, having been born human, you must now focus sincerely on right action. Awaken the lotus of the heart and bind it with knowledge, devotion, love, sacrifice, and discipline. Only then does action become meaningful, and only then can you understand the true value of human birth.
To the third question—“What is your identity?”—you may again reply, “I am a human.” But this too is not the full truth. Your real identity is that you are a servant of Brahman. Across countless universes, the Supreme Feminine conducts an infinite cosmic play. At your appointed time, you enter this play and perform your role as a servant of Brahman. When your duty is complete, you receive the rightful fruit of your actions from that radiant Divine Power.
You may believe that you are the greatest—but know that everyone thinks the same, and every living being carries this thought. But do you know what the Cosmic Consciousness is observing? It watches how you score within the cycle of your life—when your role as a servant reaches completion, and when true awareness finally awakens within you.
Many great souls of India have repeatedly spoken about this awakening of consciousness. Yet people often failed to grasp its meaning or understand how such awakening occurs. I tell you this: at the end of each day, reflect on your actions as a servant of the Divine. If you notice any shortcomings, resolve to correct them the next day. Through this daily self-review, you will gradually discover consciousness—and self-realization will naturally arise.
